What do you like best?
Our organization has grown beyond an "off the shelf" offering but as a small-staff organization, we don't have the budget for custom software. MemberNova is an excellent option for our needs. For the first time, we are able to integrate our sales function and pipeline directly with our membership database, greatly increasing efficiency, reducing duplicate administrative tasks, and preserving better data. New automated workflows are further streamlining administrative tasks, which allows staff to focus more on directly engaging with members. Bulk email is faster and more reliable. The Communication history is very helpful in allowing staff to see what members are opening and also helps members easily stay informed about news and other events.
What do you dislike?
Since moving away from a full-blown marketing automation platform, we are losing some functionality there as MemberNova is not really in the marketing automation game. However, the other efficiencies that we achieve are a better trade-off. Would love to have an on-the-fly form builder and we have some unique bulk email needs that we are hoping we can better address in future iterations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend for organizations with complex needs that aren't in the market for custom development. Excellent for organizations with global membership.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As discussed above, there are some significant time savings as we have been able to really streamline and improve some administrative tasks that were very manual and involved a lot of duplicate work. We have also been able to improve a key security feature in our organization through this automation. Payment integration with Stripe is more robust with far fewer payment failures/declines.
