Advanced user of LyciaStudio IDELycia's versatility and easy of installation and configuration are among its best features. Since it used popular platforms as its base, using it is very easy and straightforward. If you know the limitations of a 4GL program, with Lycia they are completely gone, your 4GL program can be as fast and modern as any .net or java program out there.
It would be great if they put the example code as a download. Good examples are long. Typing or copying and pasting the whole sourcode examples can be time consuming.
Download the software and ask for a trial license. The Trial license is unlimited, you can feel the complete power of the tool from the very beginning and support from Querix is so great.
Take into consideration that all of the related software: database drivers, compilers, etc., must be configured according to your desired bit version, i.e., if you choose 32 bits, set all the software to use 32bits.
Modernizing existing 4GL programs. Enabling 4GL programs to expose information trhough web services and adding Windowed graphical user interface to the programs.
