What do you like best?

Our small-medium sized consulting firm has trialed a number of backup & recovery platforms, and we were very satisfied with LiveVault's offerings. The data encryption with sensitive client information is a major benefit for us. We are assured that the automatic (and manually) stored information is sent as a duplicate to the cloud in a secure manner. Also, we liked the mirrored data stored off site if an unexpected fatal error occurred and we lost sensitive information, we were assured that it could be securely recovered using the help of a great customer service team from the folks at HP.

What do you dislike?

While there is not much in way of content that we were not satisfied with, the interface to configure the cloud backup, restoration, and recovery services was a bit confusing to even experienced IT employees. While the cloud and local backups (as well as mirrored data) were comprehensive to everything pertinent on our data/computer systems, the process seemed a bit slow and left some of our computers lagging.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

LiveValut has helped us solve cheif concerns of both the employed at our financial consulting firm and our clients. There is extensive critical, personal information stored on our data systems that require multiple back up's and recovery protection should a fatal error occur (luckily this service of LiveValut has not been required by us yet). HP LiveValut has helped us satisfy our concerns and leave us assured client information is safe. We have benefited from not taking the extensive time and resources to communicate to clientele how to protect their information, knowing the automatic processes of LiveValut are at work.
