What do you like best?

The best thing I like about IntelliJ is that I can perform git operations right from the IDE without actually typing any git commands.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really, though sometimes I feel the debugger could be improved.

When going for development, be it frontend or backend, always go with IntelliJ,works like a charm for me.

I'm building quality software for banking that helps users and customers bank without much hassle. The benefits one gets by using IntelliJ is that he doesn't need to have a complete idea of how ide works, and debugging gets a lot easier in IntelliJ. The auto code completion feature works like a charm, and also the start time for IntelliJ IDE is speedy, and multiple projects can be opened in a single ide. The file management is exemplary, and the best thing about IntelliJ is that you can do versioning for your source code right from the IDE itself. All the git operations can be performed without actually writing any git commands. One more essential benefit is that it supports multiple languages be it Java, C++ , Python, you name it and you'll have it integrated in the IDE. The UI is very simple to use and project setup, adding dependecies to your project, all can be done easily without much hassle. It can be easily intergrated with third party softwares. The support team is very active and the community is so large that you don't have to worry if you are struck somehwere or facing issues using the IDE.
