Advanced user of Hurricane for AutoCADHurricane optimized my productivity by automating repetitive processes. When I need to change the same thing on various drawings, like title blocks or company stamps, that is my go-to software.
The drag and drop tool, from AutoCAD to Hurricane, facilitates the work of those who manage many files on a daily basis.
The software has a file renamer tool that enables us to rename multiple files. Also, it is great for printing an extensive quantity of files.
Also, I'm easily applying lisp routines and scripts on all of my AutoCAD files.
I have some major complaints about the UI, that looks certainly outdated, and it also crashes a lot.
It is not very intuitive, and the learning curve can be slow at the beginning.
I already lost the license of the program because I had to replace the computer that owned it. There are no other valid options, since if I license to a USB device and it breaks, or even loses it, the license will also be lost.
I could easily use AutoCAD to perform these tasks, however, as I am the sole designer of my company, the software saves me several hours of my weekly work Since I can change simple things from hundreds of files at the same time, something that would take time to do one at a time.
