Gubagoo handles what you miss

What do you like best?

I like that Gubagoo is able to take chats on our website, but also messages that start on Facebook. And not just what comes through messenger directly, but Gubagoo supplies our feed to Facebook marketplace, so they take the chats of people who are interested in a used vehicle. They are great at getting a phone #/email first so that if the chat falls through, they still have a lead they can send into our CRM.

What do you dislike?

Multiple times, it seems, the reps taking the chats do not look at dealership notes to make sure they are providing the correct information. For example, not all our vehicles are located at the same physical address, so we have information to Gubagoo on what address to tell a customer if they ask. It's only about a 70% chance they will get it correct. Low in my opionion (all you need is one mad customer to consider that # too low).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If at all you feel like you want to go with Gubagoo, be sure to evaluate your represenative they give you. If you don't feel the support you would like, change right away because you will probably speak with them more often than you think. I have learned this mostly because of Facebook - Facebook will change something and all of a sudden our feed breaks, or those chats start getting missed. A lot of times it is because of a third party change that happens unexpectedly. Also, be sure to let them know if you want their reps to respond differently. Initially, their goal was first to set up an appt and then get contact info. We changed it that their goal is to get contact info and not always set up an appt (because they assume a vehicle is available when it could have been sold already but still not off the site yet).

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Gubagoo is solving our missed opportunities in Facebook marketplace. After we started our feed there our budget lot vehicle leads exploded and we have learned that is a great avenue to reach budget and as-is car buyers. A big benefit for us are all the chats that Gubagoo takes on when our dealership is closed. We are able to take over chats when we are open if we like, then it goes fully Gubagoo during off-hours. So it's nice to see leads already in the bucket in we come to work the next morning. Monday mornings are busy!
