Groupon and merchant passing the buck

What do you like best?

It can be a cheap way to find experiences or restaurant deals.

What do you dislike?

Groupon has an inane policy that once you "view the voucher" that it cannot be refunded. But you need to view the voucher to buy the product so if there's any problem with the merchant honoring your voucher, you're screwed. It's false advertising to even offer it as a Groupon if the agency won't even accept it!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I bought a Groupon for 1 virtual cooking class for my husband who wanted to bake from Classpop/Golden Apron, but all the baking classes are "Premium" and therefore won't be accepted by my Groupon.
