“Google Surveys allow us to extend our brand’s focus on people. In the absence of data, it’s too easy to just draw on personal experience. When you survey 2,000 people, you come to understand the answers to important business questions.” — Alex Bain, Nest

The Easiest Way to Create and Take Surveys
What do you like best?
I really love how easy it is to create and collect data from surveys in Google Surveys. I have used other platforms before and have struggled with creating surveys. I like that I have the ability to have multiple forms of questions like multiple-choice, short answer, checkboxes, and so much more. I also like the fact that I have the option to make some questions required and others that can be skipped. This is super helpful as I've found that not a lot of surveys give you these options. It's usually all or nothing. When it comes to reading and using the results, Google Surveys is incredibly convenient because it organizes everything into a Google Sheet. I love how I can view the results as a whole and even sort answers by users. Instead of having to manually organize all the data, I can save hours of time by having Google do it for me.
What do you dislike?
There really isn't too much that I don't like about Google Sheets. I think the one thing that I would change would probably be the fact that the background isn't super customizable. I love the different templates that can be used on other sites to create eye-catching surveys and bring a level of personalization to the surveys. With Google Sheets, every survey essentially looks the same. This really isn't a big deal as the important part is the data, but from a designer's perspective, it would be nice to have this extra level of customization.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
There are tons of problems that can be solved with Google Surveys. The biggest one is that it offers me a quick and painless solution for gathering and organizing data from a large number of people.
