Gallop was born in 2017 after a group of experienced entrepreneurs spent 3 years thinking through the core problems of business travel and building a platform to address it.

Gallop operates under an explicit mission to reduce the cost of travel management for organizations using technology and automation.

Gallop believes current corporate travel agencies and solutions are priced too expensively. Developments over the last few years in technology adoption, hospitality industry business models and global infrastructure allows the cost to be reduced by an order of magnitude.

Easy to use platform and excellent customer service

What do you like best?

Gallop seems to have excellent team of people who really care for their clients and travelers. All the features are very intuitive and the booking process is well designed to effortlessly navigate through business priorities and personal preferences. Can't complain!

What do you dislike?

It seems that part of the Gallop's hotel inventory has negotiated discount fares, which is certainly good for the company savings. But it creates challenge in having travelers earn loyalty rewards for their stay. However, this seems to be the hotel industry standard for negotiated contracts and I don't think it's Gallop's fault. It is hard to dislike their service and caring team.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We wanted to have a central travel management system which would help us govern policies effectively and achieve savings. So benefited from Gallop with their flexible yet effective approval processes, and policy configurations. Our employee satisfaction with travel service also went up with their excellent customer service team.

Additionally, we derived immediate savings from their flat monthly fees pricing structure - there are no extra fees charged for booking, changes or cancellations. Many other TMCs that we researched, charge extra fees for booking, changes and cancellations on top of regular monthly fees.
