Gaggle helps find those kids who are falling through the cracks.
What do you like best?
I love that Gaggle just grabs any document that has specific keywords and helps us identify students who are struggling in an educational setting. It's nice to have the ability to see what students are writing/journaling about whenever they involve self-harm/suicidal ideation. We've helped a lot of students get the extra support they need because of this. Overall, it is an incredible program that every school should use!
What do you dislike?
There isn't much that I dislike about it, it does what it is supposed to do and doesn't leave much to the imagination. The only thing that would be nice is if there was someway to see all of my Gaggle Reports in one place, but I'm an end user so I don't always see those things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't been a part of the setup process, but it is definitely an incredible program and easy to use once it is setup. The gaggle team also gives their opinion on the level of urgency with each email/document that is picked up. I really think this can be used well for any school or organization that is wanting to make sure their students/employees are safe!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We're helping students who might have otherwise fallen through the cracks get support with mental health struggles. We've realized how many students write/email about it for assignments and it gives us a great place to start checking in with those students who we didn't know were struggling.
