Good old FireFTP

What do you like best?

I used FireFTP at my first job quite some time back. The best thing about any GUI file handling tool is the ability to drag and drop, and FireFTP provided that. Another great feature I used all the time was comparing directories between various lab machines and synchronizing directories. I was working for a smaller startup, and the fact it was free was significant. Many alternatives had demo versions which were just as good, but nothing beats free!

What do you dislike?

I don't remember having any issues. It had a help file that explained the basic settings.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

FireFTP replaced PuTTY for us, which used to crash a lot. Also, FireFTP provided a bunch of features PuTTY didn't. It was a huge help and a step up from PuTTY.
