FinancialForce is a leading solutions provider in the PSA space.

What do you like best?

The software has a user-friendly interface and is easily customizable with a good support team. The out of the box solutions will work for most companies. Financial Force continues to develop different aspects of the PSA to keep it ahead of the competition. The reporting function is also straightforward to use. There is a lot of freedom with how to structure different reports and adding custom fields as required.

What do you dislike?

The resource planner needs development to provide more information and be more user-friendly. This one module seems out of place since the rest of the software is so well developed. There are components of Classic that are better than Lightning (example: reporting, the load speed of project pages). There are some components of reporting that could be improved: joining tables needs to be much easier than it is right now. The dashboarding function also lags far behind the reporting function as it is much less intuitive

Project tracking from a financial perspective is key to the success of running a successful project. Through the revenue recognition, cost recognition, and vendor management capabilities that we worked with FinancialForce to build, we implemented plenty of equations and workflows to automate a lot of this tracking. The PSA also allows for automated emails and reminders to be sent directly from the system, which aids our sales team and delivery leaders with customer conversations when it is time to renew.
