What do you like best?

The GUI is easily navigable, it allows data to be stored in one area. The grading system can be altered in all formats that are needed along with sub grades. Comment boxes can be added to the assessment areas so comments can also be added with grades. Viewing timetables is a very good feature and being able to search for other users - however, this does need working on as timetables often do not print right and it is quite long winded to find a user. The dashboard is also useful as notification can be set to alert all staff along with any events that may be happening.

What do you dislike?

Although the GUI is easy to navigate around. The design of ePortal is very outdated and needs to be brought up to the times. The font is usually in italics which is not easy on the eye. When entering data for assessments sometimes ePortal can crash which means all the data which has been entered can be lost - there is no save feature as you go. Furthermore, navigating around the assessment area can be quite time consuming. When one set of data has been entered you have to go back to the beginning of the menu to find the next year, then class, then enter the data. Whilst completing registers if an incorrect code is entered it has to be redone. Similarly there are issues with names which includes apostrophes.

The ease of entering data which then can be analysed. A good system for management of students and registers being completed. Timetabling can be completed and uploaded to here which organises staffs time.
