B2B eComm platform that is highly extensible and has a focus on enabling customers to be successful
What do you like best?
Customer support is very quick to reply and the account team genuinely cares about feedback from their customers. Customers have a say in the technology roadmap. Features are released at a rate faster than we can consume.
What do you dislike?
The dependency on third-party partners and Insite's desire to maintain backwards compatibility at the cost of technology debt
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not expect that your requirements will be met by out of the box functionality. You will need to customize Insite and leverage third-party development firms to do so. Or develop the competency in house which can be challenging. While Insite is built on C# and Angular.js (soon to be react/redux), it's not the sort of CMS a .NET developer can pickup overnight and start coding. There is a long and steep ramp in order to be productive.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Ability to execute more mature paid media campaigns, improved SEO capabilities, and standardized workflow. We need to consolidate eCommerce platforms to improve operational efficiency and deliver a consistent customer experience. Insite enables us to do this.
