Advanced user of Ellucian Banner Human ResourcesBanner is a great tool for the broad spectrum of uses and applications and easy to navigate once you've been using for a little while. Time sheets are the biggest thing our department uses them for and it has been a great tool since switching from paper forms.
It can be really picky and sometimes hard to navigate. The system also does not have a 'notification' option for when time sheets are turned in, returned/rejected, or completed/approved; that would be REALLY beneficial.
Looking ta our budget is easy but deciphering what is what is challenging. There are too many lines for one item and it gets confusing and hard to track bottom line.
Banner gives us easy access to records and tracking certain documentation.
We have recently started using it for time sheet submittal and it has been a great tool as opposed to the paper forms everyone had to turn in every two week.s
