★★★★★
Egnyte is a great tool for sharing files easily and securely.
What do you like best?
Sharing options, like password requirements and link expiration, that make me feel comfortable sharing files. It's also quite easy to send links to users both within your organization and outside of it.
I also love that uploading files is as easy as dragging and dropping it into the folder in which you want to upload it.
What do you dislike?
The folder structure inside Egnyte can be confusing with permissions (like if set up by your company/organization). If you save a file/create a folder in the wrong place, sharing it won't work with users outside of your organization. However, it doesn't tell you this , so you'll share the link, and then it doesn't work for the person on the other end.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is one of the best file sharing softwares out there. There's no storage space limit too, which puts it ahead of other similar sites, in my opinion.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Many files I have to send are larger than what's allowed in most emails, especially when working with the government (USACE), which can't receive anything over 5MB. Being able to securely upload the files and share the link and password through email makes everything much easier.
