What do you like best?

Easy access to timekeeping data, the system is easy for staff to use and it works.

The software interfaces with our payroll system with minimal extra work. It allows us to keep all timekeeping related functions in one place. With a few clicks our payroll clerk is able to collected, check and export the timekeeping data for uploading to our payroll system. Staff and their supervisors can easily check PTO balances and make/approve requests for time off. From an administration standpoint, the system is pretty hands off, once it's installed very little work has to be done to maintain it. Finance staff can get to the data they need both for reports and export/importing with minimal effort.

What do you dislike?

About the only con I can talk about is that we have to manually remove supervisory users from the system via direct manipulation of the SQL table that holds them. There is no option to remove them from within the application. We've asked for this option to be added a number of times, but so far that has not occurred.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just do it, the staff at EBS are great to work with.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

EBS Time is our solution to electronic timekeeping. It's simple to use, simple to maintain and works for us. The largest benefit is that we don't have to runaround tracking down people for the bi-weekly payroll data. This keeps it all in one place.
