All your data in one place!

What do you like best?

I like that there are several ways to have live data inputed into easy to read reports, with the additional ability to drill into the details. With the right analyst organizing the templates Domo provides easy to to read high level overviews for data, and details that build the overview. The fact that they have integrations with so many data sources for your company makes it a great resource to review all the data that your company uses from various sources.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I would say that I dislike about it is that it does take some time to build out your custom reports, but if it were easy to build then there wouldn't be a need to outsource a data hub for everything your company needs, which in my professional opinion is just part of the game. This software will potentially shorten the process for data collection in the near future and is totally worth the effort to get everything set up.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you are aware of the time that it will take to implement and continually use and build within the software. And make sure that whoever you use to build (if you're doing it internally) knows understand how to analyze your data. It's been a great tool for me in my position, however I wasn't the one building the data tables or the reports generated. It took a few months to get everything correct and working properly, but in my opinion it has been a game changer when it comes to simplifying live data.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With so many different areas of data in a company from finance, to KPI tracking, it can be difficult to log into a large variety of softwares and export everything manually. With DOMO, we've been able to centralize all the data needed to keep a watchful eye on overall company health in the many areas that need constant supervision.
