It is extremely basic and out of date, hard to convert once saved, doesn't have all the uses of a regular micro-soft. Word doesnt fully meet the unique needs of the legal industry, and lawyers are naturally not Word experts. This often results in write-offs due to document related issues. Together with tight client deadlines and reduced staff it is difficult to turn the documents around.
