Outdate Platform And Unempowered Employees

Definitive is healthcare specific and geared towards the healthcare industry.
What do you dislike?
Definitive' s UI is outdated compared to competitors and they don't build any integrations with popular software that companies use. We switched to Zoominfo and our Sales Team loves it.
DHC's database was useless for our company as they do not keep key contacts updated in their database that my sales team was targeting. After highlighting this fact to Account Management, they tried to steer us towards other aspects of their database that were essentially useless to us. We asked to end the contract early and they refused. Working with their Account Management team, it seem like they had little power to either make the platform and database useful, nor did they have the power to provide creative solutions for us to end our relationship on a positive note. They seem really rigid.
Be sure to test out their database and product extensively before committing. Once they get you in a contract, they're not letting you out...even if you prove to them that their database do not perform accordingly and that their contacts are outdated with information missing. Lack of customer friendly solution and AM empowerment left a bad feeling with us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not do it. There are better solutions out there with faster customer service, better pricing, and better quality data.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Healthcare and hospital chief officer contact information as well as head of IT contact infos. DHC has not provided any benefits and their contact information is outdated and incorrect. There are tons of contacts available in Zoominfo that's not even in DHC's database.
