Good engine for image rendering

What do you like best?

I like the advanced features offered by the platforms. It permits to perform multi-core CPU rendering with SIMD acceleration in an easy way. The library offers interactive update functionalities off-the-shelves while using camera data. It permits to render high quality passes for geometry and lighting by using Open Shading Language that is really complete and exhaustive.

What do you dislike?

The library itself is quite difficult to be used alone. The usage of Cycle is much more complex (and slower) than the use of Blender engine. Although it is easier to do photorealism with Cycles, the problem is that the extra work is done by the computer, slowing down the computer performances.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The software is quite slow, but the development opportunities are many and it works well. I suggest to integrate it with others platforms to ensure high quality of the results and beautiful contents.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I can manage really in details my rendering scenes and i can develop advanced advertisements simply.

With Blender internal I had no the opportunity to manage the Global Illumination, perfectly operated by this software.

In any case I use both the software for the different purposes explained.
