Robust CRM but needs work on the UX/UI
What do you like best?
Cool Life CRM is dependable for the most part. We've sent hundreds of thousands of emails with very few glitches. Sending a single email to a large number of recipients is fairly easy. Cool Life has a spam rating tool that will show you how your email content ranks for spam filters. This helps you get your content optimized so it isn't labeled as spam by ISPs. Love this tool. Cool Life CRM is priced right. It's a powerful CRM with a price that is hard to beat.
What do you dislike?
The user experience has much to be desired. When compared to other CRMs like Salesforce or Hubspot or infusionsoft, Cool Life lags far behind. It effects ease of use and speed with regard to getting campaigns set up, formatted, and sent. Adding custom templates requires help from their support staff. In fact many customization processes that are easily done by the user in other CRM's require a Cool Life support person to do. This takes time and can cause delays. The knowledge base is limited and the system tutorials are not always clear or easy to follow. This forces us to contact their customer support which isn't always quick to respond.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cool Life works. If your administrator is very knowledgeable with CRMs in general and how they function this shouldn't be a difficult system to manage. However, be prepared for a clunky user experience. It feels, at times, like I should be a programmer to really use it to it's full potential. It just isn't a user friendly system for the novice or beginner when it comes to CRMs.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Right now we use Cool Life to deliver our monthly news letter to over 400,000 subscribers. We hope to use it for triggered marketing campaigns and auto response notifications but that functionality is still being developed. We use Cool Life CRM to manage our client accounts including project management and account management.
