CodeShip is a hosted Continuous Integration and Delivery platform. It sits between your source code repository (e.g. GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket) and the hosting environment (e.g. Amazon Web Services) and automatically tests and deploys every change in your platform. Your Engineering team can focus on developing better applications instead of wasting time on maintaining a cumbersome CI server. Codeship scales with your needs, allows you to speed up your test suites and enables your developers to ship better code faster.

Update: CodeShip now integrates with self hosted version of GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket Server and Gitlab. Learn more on our blog at https://blog.codeship.com/codeship-integrates-with-github-enterprise

What do you dislike?

We've been using Codehsip since 2015. Since the CloudBees acquisition, the decline in customer support quality is real. Nowadays, don't expect their customer support to solve any problem; they will always point the finger back to you. They also typically reply during nighttime in the North America timezone because all of their support agents are located in Spain.

The build environment has become unstable in both the classic and the pro versions of Codeship. i.e., tests will pass in our local environment and will fail in Codeship. And when you reach out to their customer success, they never do anything, besides giving you the equivalent of "Have you tried to restart your computer" answer. Keep in mind they're charging three times the rate if you run the tests in equivalent AWS EC2 instances.

What's even more frustrating, when you try to escalate to their management, their front-line customer support agents or managers will delete your comment in their ticketing system. It seems no one in this company cares about their customers. Stay away if you can.
