What do you like best?

ClearCalcs puts highly powerful FE analysis for many residential and general strtuctural applications at my disposal without complicated tier-pricing models and difficult to install setup files. It is an all around solid staple that allows me to analyse and report my analysis in a quick and efficient manner.

What do you dislike?

Coming from different softwares, ClearCalcs will take a bit of getting used to as its interface is not quite the same as other similar design softwares. However the intuitive user experience design means I don't have to spend many dedicated hours trying to learn how to use the software to benefit from it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This is a software for engineering that is continuously evaluating and moving forward. It definitely requires a test run, as there is nothing quite like it that is widely used in the market. It certainly does deserve to be in the spotlight of structural engineering products and should be a staple in the Australian engineers' go to programs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are many softwares that tote similar design capabilities but are usually just extensions of spreadsheets with simplified formulae. ClearCalcs allows me to solve compliant required designs much more quickly than having to fire up other complicated software to achieve the same results.
