Transforming the way we communicate and collaborate at Apprenticeship Connect!

What do you like best?

Claromentis has completely transformed the way we work at Apprenticeship Connect in the two years since implementation, and it has been of even greater value since the move to remote working in 2020. Key features that have been particularly beneficial to our operations include:

- Infocapture: This e-form and workflow feature has enabled us to streamline previously complex processes that involve multiple stakeholders, departments and systems. We currently have over 40 live e-forms in regular use, supporting us to administer a wide range of activities from internal recruitment and staff onboarding, through to data breach reporting and customer change requests.

- News: Department/project managers and thought leaders across the organisation use this feature to share updates with colleagues on procedural changes, upcoming events, staff achievements, customer success stories, national/international days of observance and much more. Staff can interact with news stories through 'liking' or commenting, and we regularly release articles in conjunction with intranet 'takeovers', where we change the theme, layout and imagery of the whole platform in honour of the news story/event in question. This has enabled us to create a far richer and more dynamic news-sharing experience than was previously possible.

- Discuss: A series of virtual staff rooms allow staff to share tips and best practice with team members, share good news stories, ask for support, and participate in internal competitions.

- Knowledgebase: This feature has enabled us to document and centralise our procedures, with over 200 live articles providing staff with step-by-step guidance on the various processes and systems that they use in their job roles.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We implemented Claromentis in late 2018 as part of a project to improve the quality of communication and collaboration across the organisation. The system has exceeded our expectations in this regard and has become a core part of the employee experience at Apprenticeship Connect.
