The platform is very user-friendly and our releases get picked up by a lot of outlets.
What do you like best?
As I mentioned previously, the platform is very user-friendly and is easy to navigate and submit press releases. Once the release is posted, I like the fact that you recieve an email notification, and after a few days, you then recieve a follow up email with metrics showcasing how the press release is performing (in terms of reach, etc.) And as a side note, PR Newswire has great customer service. I experienced an issue one time, but it was resolved in a very timely manner and I was appreciate of the quick response and follow through of the staff.
What do you dislike?
I did have one issue with a release that wasn't posted on our website. The issue was fixed however so it wasnt a huge problem. I guess the only thing I would say is that the issue was something we caught, it was not caught by PR Newswire. Once we made them aware though, they were very attentive in figuring out what was going on and solving the issue.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use PR Newswire to get out company's press releases out to the public. It works quite well and we have seen an increase in not only media coverage, but general awareness. We use Cision to track metrics and set up email alerts surrounding campaigns and key words, that has been hugely successful in showcasing share of voice, audience reach, and other important metrics that we can take to our leadership and across other functions to showcase the importance of our communications.
