Overpriced, many issues and Wellsky does not care about CareTend customers

What do you like best?

We transitioned from CPR+ September 2019. Wellsky bought out the program & redesigned it as CareTend. Forced users to switch to CareTend with very high purchase price of program and increased support fees. Promised that it could perform all functions of prior program plus more, but that was not true. CareTend kept confirming and then changing our transition date. Paid for onsite training and even the trainer admitted the many issues of the program. Trainer made a list of issues and then nobody followed up. CareTend Fired much of the support team right within months of purchasing and transitioning to program. Left with limited support staff that are not familiar with the program and minimal support. Raised all fees 5% a few month after switching. Within 7 months of transition, notified that we would have to pay to receive updates to correct their program errors even though our contract stipulates no charge for updates. Always overcharged on invoices. Have to dispute every charge as they are never correct. Notified within 7 months of transitioning, after they had us upgrade and purchase a new server, that we would be forced to be hosted by CareTend/Wellsky within a short time at the bargain price of $66k per year for 20 user system. Above & beyond the $26k/year fees already paid. Have met with administration, management, etc. Told that CareTend clients are such a small portion of Wellsky, that nobody is interested in how CareTend clients are treated. I would encourage anyone considering this program to search out a different option.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

No problems have been solved with our transition to CareTend. We have less functionality than we had in a program developed in the 90's. We have had to have meeting after meeting with administration to get partial functioning for what we had previously.
