Administrator in Higher Education
Advanced user of CampusNexus CRMI like that I am able to generate reports with ease through the CRM. Overall, the CRM is fairly easy to use. CampusNexus has many features that smaller universities could benefit from. It allows you to send emails to prospective students and also has telecounseling workspaces for universities who may wish to implement telecounseling for reruiting purposes.
CampusNexus doesn't seem to be an efficient CRM for Higher Education (at least in my opinion working in an Enrollment Management department). We often have problems with Balancing CampusNexus CRM with our SIS. I think the GUI could use a major update. It would be great if CampusNexus CRM offered premium templates for sending emails to prospective students. It would also be great if SMS (sending text messages) was integrated in the CRM. Many prospective students would love to be communicated with that way, and it would be great if universities did not have to buy separate software to be able to communicate with students in that way.
If your enrollment department plans on purchasing this CRM , be sure to do plenty of research to be sure it offers everything your employees need. CampusNexus does not offer various ways to communicate with students outside of sending emails.
Overall, we are able to track most students at every stage of the enrollment funnel. We are also able to run daily reports for analyzing data between the CRM and the university's SIS.
Sometimes the CRM does not work seamlessly with the university's SIS (Student Information System). That can be a major problem especially when it comes to communicating with prospective students. You want to be sure you are communicating with as many students as possible.
