What do you like best?
It isn't cheap, but compared to virtual appliances offered by third parties (Palo Alto, etc), it has a palatable TCO. Deployment, like everything with Azure, is simple.
What do you dislike?
Missing some threat protection features offered by other NVAs. Can get comparable featureset by pairing with Application Gateways.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wouldn't put Azure Firewall to use unless I had a highly complex Azure environment. Network Security Groups should take care of most SMB Azure environments.
