Advanced user of ASAP Registration + Management SoftwareASAP is helpful only for the things that it is created to do explicitly. It is often helpful to be able to search by teacher, class, student, and invoice number separately.
ASAP has more bugs than a rotten log and I would not recommend it to any institution who is looking for consistency and speed. At least once a day there is an issue with logging in or loading pages of the site. More than once during each of our registration periods (about every 3 months) the system will mess up an invoice in one way or another in so many different ways that to list them as examples would be pointless. During our busiest times of year ASAP is often completely down and will not allow us to register students for classes, therefore losing us money and creating unnecessarily frustrated customers. If ASAP were to work perfectly I would still not use it because of the confusing, roundabout interface that makes it difficult to navigate intuitively, and the slow response time of their customer service team.
Do not buy this product even if it is the only thing your budget will allow. This is the single most wretched software I have ever used.
Thankfully I have been able to make more use of ASAP by being granted more clearance on the website, but it has created more ways to do things wrong and more room for error from the developers. The only benefit being that we have successfully archived and created our students from the past 7 years and they stay in the database.
