Appen, an awesome and lesser known workplace
What do you like best?
The best thing I like about Appen is the fact they offer jobs to people looking for work and you also have the opportunity to post small tasks. There are new jobs pretty much weekly and if you qualify for work, they send you an email with the job description and in most cases with the amount of money that you can earn from the jobs in question. There are a couple of downsides but appen has another workplace under them and once you qualify for the first job, they offer you more tasks in the second workplace. An awesome platform.
What do you dislike?
The thing I dislike the most about Appen is the fact that with any job you need to qualify (the qualification process can take anywhere from half an hour to a few hours) and the qualification is not paid. There is tons of paperwork so if you hate administration and reading through documents and signing them, I would advise you to keep away from appen. Other than those few things, appen is pretty great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it and apply. You should not be disappointed.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Appen gives me additional choice regarding making money, I have also been thinking about posting some jobs myself but I am scared about the amount of paperwork I would have to fill out in order for them to be able to post my job offers. They are offering some longer term work also through linked in and I think it's a great opportunity for people over the age of eighteen.
