Advanced user of AppCookerThis app makes defining workflow and screen layout a breeze. It is quick and easy and packed with a full set of features at a very fair price. Support is ultra responsive. It's great for presentations and allows you to pitch it to take it to the next level. You also get a feel for how much detail your app is going to need. I highly recommend this.
the tutorials could be much improved.
First, it would be good to have narration that is less accented. I had to replay several times to understand what was being said.
Secondly, the tutorials are very misleading when referring to pop-overs. They make it look like pop-overs are part of the feature set (which would be great!), but in fact require a tedious work-around to simulate.
It's intuitive to use, the mockup editor is superb, there's plenty of useful and relevant features, and overall when I'm using it, the phrase "Someone pinch me because I must be dreaming!" comes to mind.
You may be resistant to the idea of paying for app building software, but here's one app you should make an exception for.
the app is really useful in mocking up a proposed new app.App Cooker allows you to export mockups and prototypes using the following formats: .apptaster (of which more in a moment), PDFs, PNGs, and JPGs. You may do so using either iTunes File Sharing, Email, Photo Library, Box, or my personal preference, Dropbox. I have used it to mock up my MathLingo app.
