A much needed application if you have your enterprise application hosted on AWS cloud!!

What do you like best?

It's the ability to track all your AWS services in one program and the ability to create all types of dashboards for your services is great.

It is very intuitive to use, one can set alarms so easily and quickly, one of the best things since anyone without programming knowledge can also do this very easily.

It collects a lot of log information if we want it to, this helps us pin point the exact problem to fix the issue.

Easy implementation, just a few lines which one can rinse and repeat when provisioning workloads from code or some radio boxes when doing it dynamically.

What do you dislike?

Customers have to pay a lot for detailed reports and log storages.

I also feel that for some features the user has to invest a lot of time for learning it.

CloudWatch has no provision to show milliseconds, it shows numbers in 'e' notation which i feel is not a good user experience.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

AWS CloudWatch is a monitoring service for AWS cloud resources and the applications we run on AWS. My team uses Amazon CloudWatch to collect and track metrics, collect and monitor log files, set alarms, and automatically react to changes for our c8y applications hosted on AWS. AWS cloudwatch allows us to record metrics for S3, EC2, ELB, EBS. I would highly recommend this product to the folks who want to pursue a career in Cloud computing or develop Cloud applications with AWS. We use AWS to synchronizing files that all the users need. It's a very good tool to keep track of everything, including notifications. Our teams learning how to use Lambda and be proficient in it.
