A great free option to enhance your onboarding process

What do you like best?

It's a super simple idea, but extremely useful. As it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, it's very easy to set up and makes the onboarding process much more efficient.

What do you dislike?

The main downfall is that it's not always reliable and frequently suffers from 502 Errors when trying to login. I really hope they're able to get onto a more reliable server.

When setting it up or editing, It only offers a preview of your scheduled messages. You have to load another page to see the full message. This could be a bit of a paid if you have a lot of scheduled messages and were trying to remember them all.

Some additional features would be helpful, such as seeing who the app has sent messages to, perhaps even recording interactions with new members of staff. However, this would be expecting a lot of an app that is being provided for free.

Perhaps they should have an upgrade option for additional features like this.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

You've got nothing to lose in giving it a okay.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This allows us to introduce new staff to Slack as well as relevant information that they should know. You could share a pdf or .doc with all of this information, but it would likely be overwhelming and not very welcoming.

With Aloha we can provide the information in bite sized chunks throughout the day, week, month and even schedule a congratulatory message after someones first year.
