Has trouble communicating with other programs

What do you like best?

Ease of use. Point Central is a very user friendly system, it is very self explanitory which is nice. It has many different accesses you can deny or allow for different users. This system allows us to keep track of all wifi connected devices in a home, security devices, thermostats, other heating elements. There are multiple users and ability to set different securities for different users as well as the option for full access.

What do you dislike?

As I mentioned Point Central has trouble sometimes communicating with other systems, whether that is the other programs fault or the fault of itself is still to be seen, the short of it is it makes for large inconveniences for our guests. Multiple times our company has lost money because another system wasn't playing nice with Point Central and we have had to disconnect Point Central and refund the guest money since the system malfunctioned.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Keeping access to full programming/administration limited keeps the system running smoother and more securely.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It allows automation for a lot of features that would be very tedious to keep track of manually. Having a record of every door access from different users help keep everyone in our company accountable for their actions. Giving the guest immediate satisfaction (give or take a few minutes for it to travel through the cloud) is very helpful. It allows remote access, working in a call center this is invaluable.
