Nice product, good support (after a period of not-great support)

What do you like best?

We use Akumina's InterChange product. It's a nice product and easy to use. The support we're currently getting from them is great.

What do you dislike?

In the past we've had significant problems getting support and bug fixes from Akumina. Many open issues dragged on for months without progress. It seems as though they had some serious inefficiencies internally, or perhaps they just scaled up too quickly and had too many clients.

However, this issue now seems much improved: They recently made a lot of structural and process changes and we have really noticed a difference in how thorough, organized and timely support from them now is. We're currently very happy with the support and customer service we're getting.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We did not previously have an organization-wide intranet, and now we do. The InterChange platform has been extremely helpful in improving cross-organization communication and sharing success stories, news and other content.

It took us a long time to build our intranet after we engaged with Akumina, but that has more to do with our internal timing than with their speed.
