Easy to use, simple to assist entry-level editors
What do you like best?
Adobe Spark is a great product alternative to the cookie-cutter formats contained within similar products like Canva. For our team, it's easy to set up themes, branding, and templates for on-site users to utilize and customize. It takes less of the guesswork out of content creation. The best thing is with a team account we're able to go in and set standards and framework for content so we don't have items or content being pushed out or shared that goes completley against our guidelines or formats.
What do you dislike?
Like all Adobe products, Spark gets the job done and is easy to maneuver. Unfortunately, it comes with a price. Compared to Canva or similar photo editing/content creating tools, the price might come with sticker-shock. But with the additional assets and abilities, it ends up being worth it. The plus is, there's always a 30-day trial window to see if you and your team truly utilize it enough to validate the expense.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to put content-creation in the hands of beginners, or better yet, take some of the hassles off of your plate, Adobe Spark is the way to go. Adobe Spark helps create photos and videos you can take pride in your company or corporation sharing. It's easy to set up, upload everything in, and hand over the reigns to on-site users to work their way around.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our biggest issue was our Digital Marketing team was wasting so much time creating content and developing out ideas for on-site users. It was super time consuming and came with a lot of back-and-forth editing, revising, and frustrations on both ends. This way, we set up Spark as a Team to upload all brand guidelines- approved color schemes, fonts, patterns, etc. and then our teams can go in directly and customize their content to however they see. The biggest benefit is being able to utilize the Adobe Creative Suite on our end, and put in the beginning of a content concept; then allowing on-site users to go in and build out the finished product however they see fit. It saves us a lot of time, and our team isn't dedicated to being graphic designers or content creators.
