Advanced user of AdaxesVery easy for end users and non-technical staff to use. It's web based and works on mobile. Replaced all of our PowerShell scripts and allowed us to easily delegate user management tasks to other departments like HR without granting them too many permissions. Have yet to find something that it can't do. Had built in functionality for 90% of what we wanted to do and the rest we could do with PowerShell scripts inside Adaxes. Their support team even wrote us a PowerShell script when we asked about a function that wasn't built in.
There is a moderate learning curve to figure out when to use Adaxes Business Rules, Property Patterns, or Custom Commands. I was able to figure almost all of them out by doing a search for How to do X in Adaxes and their QA website would come up with the answer. For the rest I contacted support and they explained how to do it. In one case they wrote us a PowerShell script to use which impressed me.
Delegation in Active Directory is confusing, and it's easy to give someone too much power. Installing Remote Server Administration Tools for users is annoying, not to mention the relationship between local AD and Office 365. Adaxes allowed us to easily delegate task with an easy user interface and easy permissions.
Automation and standardization are useful to. Having Adaxes as the easier way to do a task means IT staff use it rather than manually doing something else. From there Business rules can make sure the job gets done the same way every time.
