Apple Search Ads is the essential app marketing method
What do you like best?
The dashboard shows KPI very clearly. And setting up advanced keyword targeting was pretty easy. And the auto-optimization based on the bidding price is pretty strong. And the app installation quality seems pretty good. Uninstall ratio is pretty stable.
What do you dislike?
Overall bidding price pretty high compared to Google Ads. In the App Store Apple Connect, they don't show install source as Apple Search Ads so I feel like there is some grey area. They don't allow creating ad creatives and targeting is quite limited.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The budget is pretty important. Plan ahead of time on budget.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
There is not much strong source of app installation. So Apple Search Ads is helping with stable installations. And the uninstallation is much less than Google Ads so this is a very satisfying factor.
