Interface is Easy to Use and Traffic is High

What do you like best?

Even for users less proficient on the computer, Indeed provides an easy to use interface that is clear to navigate through. Posting and promoting jobs are straightforward. You can easily add details to the company profile and gain insights on the traffic to your job listings.

What do you dislike?

The candidates through Indeed were a mixed bag. Although we were receiving a lot of applications, I was at times disappointed with the quality of the candidates. Indeed makes it very easy for candidates to apply but this may be too easy causing job seekers to apply to many jobs without putting much (if any) effort into the applications.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Take the time to build out your company page with as much detail as possible. This can really make a difference when attracting the most qualified candidates. If you are going to invest in a premium listing or profile, do not miss the features this adds.

Also, get to know the analytics features, this is not a common job board feature and can provide meaningful insights into how your company is being represented. This too can ensure you are putting the best foot forward to attract the most talented applicants.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My company was looking for a lot of new employees for a variety of positions. Indeed company pages provided a platform to advertise many job listings as well as promote the company culture and benefits. This drove more traffic (and therefore more applications) to each of our job postings.
