What do you like best?

There are few features that I like with using Calibre... They are: Converting books, Ripping the DRM rights from a digitally signed copy, using Calibre as an ebook library manager. Also there are various management of plugins that a user can use and check.

What do you dislike?

Calibre uses loads of memory and especially if the book size is huge, conversion process takes time. There were few times when I could not connect to the ebook stored in my laptop and access it portably. This could be also due to network or port mapping issues. I dont want to blame Calibre fully for this.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go and use this software. You would not find a better ebook management software than Calibre. Especially to those people who use Apple products and Amazon Kindle, this calibre is a must have. A digitally encryted and protected book can be ripped easily with Calibre. Also since Calibre is open source and free to use, every person should use this software.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The software is an open source and free one. It is available across multiple platforms. Reading books is a pleasure on Calibre, Converting books from one format to another is a bliss feature, Also you can use your laptop as the Digital server space for storing ebooks and then use the calibre server management tools to access these files portably.
