They have a really deep level of data available to use for both audience work and media planning

What do you like best?

The help desk are very helpful and answer questions quickly, they also answer the phone quickly which is great if you're in a rush. The vast array of data sources is also good including TGI, pamco, click stream etc. Once you know how to use the data it becomes easy to use. There is lots of data to segment on such as demographic, acorn groups, income etc which is helpful due to the range of clients we work on. It's great to be able to create multiple audiences within one run so you can directly compare to each other. It's also very useful to be able to re name columns when you've added multiple filters to make it very clear what it is in a snapshot.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it is difficult to mine through the data to find what you need, this is even more so if you are looking for new ideas or inspiration and so are not sure what exact terms to search for. Especially when looking at more qualitative data like TGi lifestyle statements. Takes a while to understand how the system works. Sometimes the search button is difficult as you must remember to reset before searching again. It can take a while to load each new page which can be frustrating if in a rush.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ensure you have proper training and don't be afraid to keep using it. It is good to get experience and try new capabilities to build confidence. Also use the help desk if needs be as they're very useful.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Helping to understand our brands audience so we can better plan media for them. We can input demographics and location and lifestyle attributes in order to understand what media they are consuming, when and with whom. I've realised how intricate the data sources are, for instance the time parting data is fascinating to see how people consumer media throughout a day and where the peaks and troughs are.
