Changed our Product Culture
What do you like best?
The product culture we had before switching to OKRs and Atiim was very much a top down, by fiat, approach; everyone was working on their own little ideas and features with no apparent roll up to what the executive team thought was being worked on. When we established OKRs we also realized we needed a way to track all of the KRs, amongst other things, and this tool really provides a great opportunity for the org to align around larger goals and drive insight into what everyone is working on, plus how the larger team is contributing. It's been a real bright spot in our organizational development this year and I recommend it highly.
What do you dislike?
At this point, there are little small start up bugs that happen. Coming from a background like that, I may be more sympathetic than others. Fit and finish wise though, it looks very nice. Some widgets, however, just mysteriously stop working and there's no real insight into why.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a lot of time with your CSM, it will make your experience go far more smoothlyl
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Organizational alignment from CEO to Developer. So far the benefits have been mostly time, but that equals money. We spend far less time talking about our goals and now just chasing after and achieving them.
