What do you like best?

WCMD is a newer tool in the arsenal of transcription services. It's a fantastic all-in-one service; clients can upload dictation, transcriptions have easy access and ability to send for quality checks, and you can even have the files automatically delivered if desired. It cuts down on a lot of time and is incredibly user friendly for clients.

What do you dislike?

Some of the backend instructions for account management are not intuitive. For example, needing to add a back up MT for a particular client necessitates changing their associations so they can see their files -- this isn't obvious if you're a new user. There is a lengthy video tutorial on the site available to all users, however. Their support staff is also less than ideal, as they have a tendency to brush off concerns.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Prep for a runaround from their support if there are any technical issues and definitely watch the user guide to ensure your success.

Client portals for transcriptions are near fool proof and do not require back up proprietary servers.
