What do you like best?
There are lots of monitoring tools for PR, public affairs and communications professionals. Probably the best thing about CivicFeed is its very responsive customer service. It is also improving and adding new features. I raised an issue about the lack of RSS feeds as its annoying to get email alerts. It replied it was looking at it. About a week later it added RSS feeds for alerts. Brilliant.
What do you dislike?
At the moment the public affairs services are very USA-focused. However, given my experience of its customer service so far I'm hopeful it will start to add more international feeds for the UK, European Union, Australia etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have feature requests then make them. It can't improve if it doesn't know what you want.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I use a wide range of monitoring tools that I recommend to clients. CivicFeed is now the main one I am using for my own business.
