Google My Business is Very Organized and Easy to Access!
What do you like best?
My favorite part of Google My Business is how i can create posts that show on Google Search immediately. I was a Google Guide and I was reviewing businesses to gain points. As a local guide, I became interested in Google products like Google Analytics, Ads, and the business manager. I have full control over what gets posted on Google. There are two main parts I dedicate a lot of time on as a user: Google posts and products. I can showcase all of my products on the Products section and showcase my social media posts on Google posts. Everything is linked together and I do not have to worry about SEO or hiring a freelancer to bring in visitors to my page.
What do you dislike?
I don't like how I can't post the same social media posts to my business in two locations. I have a Kristie Kim Design in Los Angeles and a Kristie Kim Design in Raleigh. I have to post two times because there is no feature on Google My Business to upload onto the Los Angeles and Raleigh locations at the same time. It does take a long time for posts to show up on Google Search. It took more over two years to get a grasp of all of the different ways to bring in traffic through Google My Business because I did not want to pay for SEO costs.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I don't see many problems with Google My Business. It is definitely not a website-creating platform. It just promotes the services and products for the company. I don't have to worry about SEO, keywords, or how many views I gain on one click to my page. It is great for local businesses who want to have a strong presence online. There are no language translations that I see available on my end, so I am guessing Google My Business is for domestic visitors.
