Advanced user of Intel System Studio IoT EditionThis is an IDE specially tailored for those x86 enthusiasts migrating to the development of microcontrollers applications. It is very easy to follow the step-by-step tutorials targeted for the a specific chip of the Quark family
Integration on an Eclipse environment is well done and reflects the latest trends when developing and debugging in the same platform.
No need to be a command line geek to get stuff done with your embedded target
The later decision form Intel to drop some of the designs conforming its Quark portfolio, deceived some early adopters of their microcontroller technology like me.
Another downturn is the shallow offer of some of their APIs functions, forcing the developer to fill the void by reading further technical doc and implementing the missing functionalities
Easy prototyping for the delivery of a proof of concept using Intel technology. Also, the technical support from their application engineers was highly appreciated
QMIS code base is extremely well written and handy to use even for beginners
