Super easy to use

What do you like best?

I love that Oomnitza integrates with our supplier (CDW) and our MDM (Jamf) to make managing our assets and reporting so seamless. I never have to really worry if anything is out of date or that we haven't recorded any of our purchases into the system. If we do buy anything one-off, we can easily add it manually with no problems. I also like the dashboard to get quick view of the stats of our assets,

What do you dislike?

The reporting feature can be a bit overwhelming considering all the options available to organize data. Sometimes not all of the data which would be nice to have pulled from Jira doesn't come through (serial numbers). Not sure if this is due to an issue or if it's possible at all.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Pretty much what I wrote in "what I like best". The automated data capture from JAMF into Oomnitza just made things so much easier. Automated asset management was a huge win for our small team and saved so much time. It has also helped improve reporting for our Finance and Accounting teams so that they have a much more accurate picture of our inventory, and who these assets belong to. Being able to track end-of-life data, warranty information, and loaners were also huge plusses for us. The software asset discovery via Jamf will also be instrumental in tackling our shadow IT problems!

We are definitely looking to add more integrations into Jira to help us automate things further. We will also be adding Airwatch as we use this for the management of our non-apple products.
