What do you like best?
I like how easy it was to create custom giving forms and incorporate them into a website. There wasn't a lot of paperwork. Credit card fees are reasonable. Text-to-give with a custom local phone number is included in paid plans. I love how it works too--just text an amount to the number. After the initial setup, it's one step to give.
What do you dislike?
There were some struggles with text-to-give when mobile providers started routinely blocking business text. It took some time to work that out, but it's working well now. It would also be better to be able to edit the credit card set up for text-to-give without having to re-enter all the information again. And if you have a lot of giving pages, making a change like changing your gateway requires editing every page individually with no easy way to verify all the pages are set to the correct gateway.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
GivingFuel allowed us to integrate directly with our donor management system. This means that donations given online are automatically recorded for the most part reducing the time required for processing donations. It also provided an easy way (text-to-give) for members to give during worship without being distracted by filling out forms or checks.
