What do you like best?
Paylocity gives me the tools I need to quickly and easily manage my personnel employment processes and makes submitting accurate and sometimes complicated payrolls straightforward and user-friendly. They also provide a comprehensive reports module that keeps our records and reporting easily executable. When I have questions, big, small, simple or complicated, their support staff helps me learn and execute whatever processes I need without making me feel like my question is too easy or my need is too small. They do a fabulous job of communicating new and improved aspects of their program and communicating how industry or legal changes may impact our company and how we utilize Paylocity's system. They have been proactive in updating how the system works based on client needs and user experience. They have responded to all the unknowns of the Pandemic and legislative changes in a way that makes me confident in my ability to support and assist my personnel.
What do you dislike?
There is a learning curve to get started on your own or to train/cross-train staff but their support personnel are very responsive to even the smallest of inquiries. If you haven't been through Paylocity formal training, you have to ask all the questions upfront or you end up learning through failure. The coding that dictates the output formating for reports is more of a hinderance than helpful if you need to manipulate your information, but it works fine for just viewing/reviewing.

Ask questions and utilize the support team because they can help you implement the system according to your needs. Paylocity has modules for nearly all your HR and personnel functions giving you a comprehensive and central source for simplifying your personnel processes. They are very responsive if you just ask. Paylocity will make sure that they, and their program, fulfill your needs.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Using Paylocity has enabled our large business with many and various locations to utilize on-site staff for immediate personnel needs while still having a centralized HR staff to oversee the HR needs. It has allowed us to support and network with each other for local problem-solving and learning support and given us the ability to integrate Benefits administration within a platform already familiar to employees.
